Description
Most factories in Vietnam run three-phase 380 V supplies, and their drives often carry DC links well above that. The Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZHD15 probe covers this ground with room to spare. It is a high-voltage differential probe, meaning it reads the voltage between two floating points. Rohde & Schwarz gives it 100 MHz bandwidth and a 1500 V maximum.

What the data sheet says
| Characteristic | Value |
|---|---|
| Bandwidth | 100 MHz |
| Maximum voltage | 1500 V |
| Attenuation ratios | 50:1 and 500:1 |
| Input impedance | 10 MΩ || 2 pF |
| Order number | 1800.2107K02 |
Good matches for 100 MHz
Line-frequency work and most IGBT-based drives sit comfortably inside 100 MHz. For example, a maintenance engineer can check PWM output on a conveyor drive after a fault. A design team can also look at power factor correction stages or the DC bus of a welder. Similarly, panel builders can verify control transformer outputs and contactor coil voltages during acceptance tests.
When to step up to the RT-ZHD16
The RT-ZHD16 shares the same 1500 V maximum but doubles the bandwidth to 200 MHz. So pick that model when SiC or GaN edges matter. Otherwise, the RT-ZHD15 keeps things simple for general power work.
Cable length options for the Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZHD15 probe
Rohde & Schwarz lists optional 3.0 m and 4.5 m cables for the RT-ZHD15 and RT-ZHD60. That helps, for instance, when the cabinet and the scope cannot sit side by side. So ask Lost in HCM whether a longer cable can join your order.
Arranging a rental or purchase
Lost in HCM lists the probe as an option for the R&S RTM3000 family. Before you order, though, confirm the probe interface and firmware of your own scope. Then request a quote from Lost in HCM with your dates and scope details. Browse similar oscilloscope probes, or contact SMK Vietnam for guidance. Also, specifications follow the Rohde & Schwarz high-voltage probe page. Follow the manufacturer’s manual and ratings whenever you use the Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZHD15 probe.
RT-ZHD15 buyer questions
Is 100 MHz enough for inverter work?
For most line-frequency and IGBT drive tasks, yes. For very fast wide-bandgap edges, consider the 200 MHz RT-ZHD16 instead.
Can I get a longer cable?
Rohde & Schwarz offers 3.0 m and 4.5 m options for this model. Lost in HCM confirms what it can supply.
How long can a rental run?
Lost in HCM sets the rental period in its quote, from a short audit to a longer project.
