Description
Power-rail probing often starts with a quick touch on a capacitor or a test pad. The Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZA25 browser is a replacement power-rail browser kit for the RT-ZPR20 and RT-ZPR40 power-rail probes. It brings a hand-held browser plus the contacts, clips and tips that sit at the business end of those probes.

A replacement for the stock browser
According to Rohde & Schwarz, the RT-ZPR20 and RT-ZPR40 already ship with this browser kit. So most buyers order the RT-ZA25 as a spare or a replacement. For example, a worn tip or a lost micro clip can sideline a power-rail probe. Then a second kit restores it without a wait for loose parts.
What the Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZA25 browser kit contains
The R&S listing starts with the power-rail browser itself. It then names ground contacts, tips, spring tips, a hook, a micro SMD clip, a dual adapter, coding rings and tubes. In addition, the R&S page counts eight coding rings.
The R&S product photo shows a grey coaxial cable with an SMA plug and a tag that reads RT-ZA25 Power Rail Browser. Around it, you can see the browser handle, a ground lead, a hook and the micro clip. Also in view are a red and black dual lead, tips, springs and the colored rings.
Browse first, solder later
A browser suits fast checks. You can move from rail to rail across a board in a few minutes, while the scope shows ripple on each one. However, a hand-held contact can shift during a long capture. That is why R&S also offers the RT-ZA26 solder-in pigtail for the same probes. So a lab may keep both: the browser for surveys and the pigtail for fixed, hands-free points.
Requesting the RT-ZA25
Lost in HCM rents and sells the Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZA25 browser kit and arranges service on request. SMK Vietnam only lists it. Tell Lost in HCM which RT-ZPR probe you use, how many kits you need and your dates. Then request a quote from Lost in HCM. You can also open the R&S probe accessories page, browse oscilloscope probes, or contact SMK Vietnam.
