Not every R&S probe uses the slim 2.5 mm front end. The Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZA40 kit is a probe-tip accessory kit for probes with a 5 mm tip, and it covers the grounding, hooking and tip parts those probes need on the bench.
Which probes have a 5 mm tip
Rohde & Schwarz lists four compatible models: RT-ZP03, RT-ZP05S, RT-ZH03 and HZO10. So this kit suits labs that run those probes rather than the 2.5 mm RT-ZP10 family. In practice, a bench may hold both sizes, yet the tip parts do not swap between them. Therefore, read the probe model off the cable or the probe body before you order.
