Description
A probe that travels between sites needs its small parts to travel with it. Loose pins in a drawer do not help, for example, an engineer at a customer line far away. So the Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZA2 kit keeps everything in one case. R&S calls it a spare accessory set for active voltage probes, and it names the RT-ZS10, RT-ZS10E, RT-ZS20 and RT-ZS30.

R&S also lists single-purpose sets for these probes, such as the RT-ZA3 pin set and the RT-ZA4 and RT-ZA5 clip packs. Those also suit a bench that only burns through one kind of part. By contrast, the RT-ZA2 covers pins, clips and leads at once. So it fits a new probe owner or a field service bag. It also suits a lab that wants one tidy spare per probe.

However, the R&S content list does not name a manual, so ask whether one comes with your order.

Does the Rohde & Schwarz RT-ZA2 kit include an RT-ZS probe?
No. The kit holds accessories only, and the probe has its own order number.
Is the RT-ZA2 meant for RT-ZD differential probes?
R&S names only the four RT-ZS models for it. For an RT-ZD probe, check the fit with Lost in HCM first.
