Description
Coffee from Dak Lak, Lam Dong and Gia Lai passes through hullers, sorters, roasters and grinders before it ships. Many of those machines come from Germany, Japan, Brazil or local workshops, and each uses its own units. The Snap-on TEC25FFUAC Torqometer suits that mix. It reads in ft-lb and kg·cm, and it uses two needles.

Roaster drums and small fixings
Roasters heat and cool with every batch, so drum, door and burner fixings work loose over time. In addition, grinders and sorters vibrate all shift. A short dial such as the TEC25FFUAC reaches those joints without much room to swing. Then its two needles show the targeted torque and the torque achieved.

Coffee plant tasks for the Snap-on TEC25FFUAC Torqometer
- Drum door, cooling tray and agitator arm fixings on roasters.
- Burr carrier and housing screws on industrial grinders.
- Frame and chute bolts on hullers, graders and color sorters.
- Bracket bolts on bag filling and sealing machines.
Let hot parts cool before you set a value. Also, the machine maker’s figures always come first.
Why kg·cm helps here
Many Asian machine manuals give small screw torque in kg·cm. Rather than converting, the user reads the TEC25FFUAC metric scale directly. For a manual in N·m, remember that one kg·cm equals about 0.098 N·m.
Grade and band on the TEC25FFUAC
Lost in HCM files this wrench under Combination US/Metric Reading/Standard 2% Accuracy. Snap-on defines its standard grade as within 2% of reading from 20% of full scale to full scale. So the band here starts at 5 ft-lb, or 70 kg·cm. Tiny sensor screws below that need a lighter tool.
Care near roast and chaff
Chaff and coffee oil coat everything near a roaster. So wipe the TEC25FFUAC after use and keep it in its PB9 case away from the hot zone. Never use it to break a stuck screw loose. Finally, send it to an outside lab for recalibration on a set cycle.

Coffee processing FAQ
Which units does the TEC25FFUAC read?
Snap-on’s base row lists 25 ft-lb and 350 kg·cm. It has no N·m scale.
Why a follow-up model for roasters?
The two needles show the target and the result. So you can check the value after a pull in a tight spot.
Does the TEC25FFUAC chart count as a calibration certificate?
The source does not say. Ask Lost in HCM what the chart includes.
