Description
Mid-size tube nuts on hydraulic and cooling lines often fall at 3/4 in. The Snap-on QYRX24A flare nut head reaches them through a slotted 12-point ring on a Y shank (0.560 in). Its maximum recommended torque is 104 ft-lb, roughly 141 N·m. CAT1500i and the UK Torque Brochure agree on that value, since 1,245 in-lb works out to almost exactly 104 ft-lb.

Three ways to turn a 3/4 in nut on a Y body
Pick the QYRX24A when swing room is short
Twelve points let the ring seat every 30 degrees. So the handle can start from an angle that clears a hose or a bracket. In addition, the 104 ft-lb rating gives you a printed ceiling for the final pull.
Pick the QYRXS24A when the nut is soft
The 6-point QYRXS24A carries the same 104 ft-lb rating. However, it pushes on the middle of each flat, which spares brass or worn nuts.
Pick the RTWH48YSL for fast run-down
This 3/4 in ratchet spins a nut down without lifting the tool. Snap-on gives it no rating, though, so many crews finish with the Snap-on QYRX24A flare nut head.
Matching a Y body to the Snap-on QYRX24A flare nut head
The CTECH2Y100A ControlTech tops out at 100 ft-lb, just under the head rating. So on that body the QYRX24A cannot be overloaded, and every pull lands in the wrench memory. The QC3P150 preset and the QD3IN200B, by contrast, reach past 104 ft-lb. On those, keep the setting at or below the head limit. QYRX heads sit 3.00 in from the pin, so the QD scale reads directly.
A line station with the QYRX24A
Think of an assembly cell that fits the same 3/4 in hydraulic nut on every machine. A QC3P150 preset holds one value, so the operator just pulls to the click. With the Snap-on QYRX24A flare nut head on the end, the ring drops over the tube in any of twelve positions. As a result, the cycle stays short, and the head rating guards the joint.
Metric neighbor of the QYRX24A
Three-quarters of an inch equals 19.05 mm. A 19 mm nut therefore fits with very little play, yet a metric head remains the better match. For those lines, CAT1500i lists the QYRXSM19A, a 19 mm 6-point Y head.

Lost in HCM supplies the QYRX24A and writes the quote, while SMK Vietnam lists it for that partner. Mention your Y body and the joint value. Next, the QYRX24A page at Lost in HCM accepts the quote request. Other sizes, such as the 11/16 in QYRX22A, appear under torque wrench heads and adaptors. General questions can go to the SMK Vietnam contact page.
QYRX24A: rating, shank and body fit
Is the QYRX24A rating the same in every Snap-on source?
Yes. CAT1500i says 104 ft-lb, and the UK brochure says 1,245 in-lb, which matches.
Does a J-shank body take the QYRX24A?
No. The QYRX24A has a Y shank only, so for J wrenches at 3/4 in, look at the 6-point QJRXS24A.
Can the CTECH2Y100A overload this head?
No. Its range ends at 100 ft-lb, below the 104 ft-lb rating of the QYRX24A.
