Description
Wrenches with an IZO/ISO receiver take rectangular inserts, not round-shank heads. The Snap-on IZSRAT14X18 ratchet insert gives a 14 x 18 mm receiver a 1/2 in ratcheting square drive. So a large-fitting wrench can turn the 1/2 in sockets that most plants already own.

In other words, the insert sets the ceiling here, not the wrench. By contrast, the CTECHAN30A, CTECHAN135A and CTECHANM30 use 9 x 12 mm receivers. They need a 9 x 12 insert, such as the IZSRAT9X12.

Snap-on offers three ratchet options on this fitting. The IZSRAT14X18 and the QIZ16Q14X18 both carry a 1/2 in drive and a 265 N·m rating. Meanwhile, the IZLRAT14X18 steps up to 3/4 in. So choose the IZSRAT14X18 when your sockets are 1/2 in and your joints stay under 265 N·m. For bigger sockets, the 3/4 in insert avoids a reducer.
