Not every fastener sits where a socket can reach. Tube nuts, line fittings and hoses inside a cabinet often need an open-end or ring head instead. The Snap-on CTECHAN30A torque wrench solves that with a 9 x 12 receiver for interchangeable heads. It is a ControlTech ISO wrench with a 30 N·m capacity.
How the 9 x 12 receiver works
The receiver is a rectangular socket at the front of the wrench. You slide in a head with a matching 9 x 12 mm end fitting, such as a ratchet, open-end or ring head.
