Description
The Snap-on 202TQWRFR torque wrench set pairs two 3/8-inch drive wrenches whose ranges overlap. One is a QD2R100A click wrench for 20 to 100 ft-lb. The other is an ATECH2F125RB TechAngle electronic wrench for 5 to 125 ft-lb, with a red housing. Both also sit in a fitted foam organizer.

Dual 80 technology in plain terms
The Dual 80 name comes from the click wrench. Its ratchet uses an 80-tooth gear with two pawls. As a result, the swing arc stays short, so the QD2R100A works in tight spaces such as engine bays. A sealed head also keeps out dirt and moisture. In addition, a roll-marked scale stays easy to read after years of use.
Two wrenches, one workflow
Use the QD2R100A for repeat joints where speed counts. Then switch to the ATECH2F125RB for low values, angle steps or spot checks, because its screen shows the actual reading. The red housing also makes the electronic wrench easy to spot on a crowded bench. Since both share a 3/8-inch drive, the same sockets fit each tool.
Snap-on 202TQWRFR torque wrench set contents
| Stock no. | Type | Range | Accuracy (20-100% of scale) |
|---|---|---|---|
| QD2R100A | Adjustable click wrench, fixed ratchet head | 20-100 ft-lb | ±4% CW, ±6% CCW |
| ATECH2F125RB | TechAngle electronic, flex head | 5-125 ft-lb | ±2% CW, ±3% CCW |
In addition, the ATECH2F125RB adds MAG COMP and multi-axis gyro compensation for flexed use. It also offers six scales, ten presets and four alert modes.
Looking after the foam and the tools
Wipe the closed-cell foam with a cloth, since it resists oils, solvents and fuels. Return each wrench to its pocket after use, so an empty slot flags a missing tool. Also wind the QD2R100A down to its lowest setting before storage. Then check both wrenches on the schedule your quality plan sets.

202TQWRFR FAQ
Which wrench in the set has the red housing?
It is the ATECH2F125RB electronic wrench, so look for that model number. Snap-on lists it with a red housing on a chrome body.
Why do the two ranges overlap?
Because the ranges overlap, you can check a click-wrench joint with the electronic wrench at the same value.
Does the QD2R100A work counterclockwise?
Yes. Snap-on rates it at ±6% counterclockwise from 20% of full scale to full scale.
