Description
Torque drivers and small preset wrenches often work between a few in-lb and 50 in-lb. The Snap-on TTC6 torque transducer covers 4 to 50 in-lb on a 1/4 in square drive. In metric terms, that is about 0.45 to 5.65 N·m.

Tools the Snap-on TTC6 torque transducer can check
Snap-on’s own tools show how the range fits in practice:
- QDRIVER4A driver, 5-40 in-lb: the whole scale sits inside the TTC6 range.
- QDRIVER3A driver, 3-15 in-lb: settings from 4 in-lb up fit, while 3 in-lb falls just below.
- QC1P60 preset body, 10-60 in-lb: values above 50 in-lb need the TTC65.
So list your tools and their top settings before you choose the TTC6.
TTC6 or TTC65 on the 1/4 in drive
Snap-on offers four 1/4 in transducers. The TTC4 and TTC5 read in in-oz, while the TTC6 reads 4-50 in-lb and the TTC65 reads 15-150 in-lb. The two in-lb units overlap from 15 to 50 in-lb. Snap-on’s TTC2000 accuracy figure, ±0.25% of indicated value, applies from 10 to 100% of full scale. For the TTC6, that window opens at just 5 in-lb, so it suits the low end better than the TTC65.
The 4-in-1 alternative
The TTC400 4-in-1 unit in the TTC2000SYS and TTC2800SYS kits has a 1/4 in section. Snap-on’s UK brochure lists that section at 4-50 in-lb, the same span as the TTC6. So a kit owner already has this range on the bench. Still, a separate TTC6 helps when a second bench needs the range. It also suits force tests, which Snap-on allows only with single transducers.
Mounting the Snap-on TTC6 torque transducer
Snap-on pairs the TTC6 with the TTC3421 bench top bracket, which holds units from 5-50 in-oz up to 80-1,000 in-lb. Bolt it to a rigid bench, because low readings show every bit of flex. Each TTC unit also carries a memory chip that identifies it and keeps its calibration. As a result, the monitor recognizes the TTC6 as soon as you plug it in. For screwdriver work, Snap-on also offers the TTC75002 testing kit for 2000 and 2800 series systems.
Asking Lost in HCM about a TTC6 for your bench
SMK Vietnam lists the TTC6, and Lost in HCM supplies it and issues the quote. Name your monitor or system, plus the drivers and wrenches you test. Then send a TTC6 request to Lost in HCM. Related parts sit in torque testers and calibration systems, or you can contact SMK Vietnam.
TTC6 questions from tool cribs
What range does the TTC6 read?
It reads 4 to 50 in-lb on a 1/4 in square drive, about 0.45 to 5.65 N·m.
Can the TTC6 check a QDRIVER4A torque driver?
Yes. That driver’s 5-40 in-lb scale sits inside the TTC6 range.
Does the TTC6 come with a drive adaptor?
Snap-on says every TTC transducer includes the correct adaptor for its range. However, the TTC3421 bracket is a separate part.
