Description
Not every torque lab needs a motor on its loader. If your team tests a steady but moderate number of wrenches, a hand crank does the job and keeps the bench simple. The Snap-on TTC2000SYS torque calibrator follows that idea. It is the manual version of the TTC2000 master torque calibration system, and it still loads tools up to 2,000 ft-lb.

Inside the Snap-on TTC2000SYS torque calibrator kit
The Snap-on Industrial catalog lists these parts:
- TTC610 digital monitor (the TTC2000 indicator).
- TTC600 mechanical loader, rated to 2,000 ft-lb, and a tool cabinet with casters.
- TTC400 4-in-1 transducer (4 in-lb to 250 ft-lb) with TTC5000-1 bracket.
- TTC12 transducer (60-600 ft-lb) and TTC14 transducer (200-2,000 ft-lb).
- Accessories: a TTC5500-1 extension arm, the 2000-SW WedgeLink software and a 2000-50-3 cable for downloads.

Accuracy and data handling
For the TTC2000SYS, Snap-on states ±0.25% of indicated value, clockwise and counterclockwise, from 10% to 100% of full scale. The monitor offers Track, Peak Hold, First Peak and Power Tool modes. It also stores 3,000 readings with date and time. In addition, it calculates Mean, Sigma, Cp and Cpk, and a built-in serial printer gives paper records. For digital files, an RS232 port sends data to a PC.
Manual crank or motorized TTC2800SYS?
The hand crank needs at most 8 ft-lb of input to produce up to 2,000 ft-lb at the loader. So one technician can test large wrenches without strain. However, a lab that runs hundreds of tests a week may prefer the motorized TTC2800 system. In short, the TTC2000SYS suits lower volumes and tighter budgets, while the motorized bench suits high throughput.
Power and room planning in Vietnam
The catalog lists the TTC2000SYS power supply as UL approved for 120 VAC or 220 VAC at 50/60 Hz. That makes it a practical fit for local 220 V mains. Also note the operating range of 10-32 °C and humidity up to 90% non-condensing. Therefore, an air-conditioned room away from shop dust works best.
Testing more than wrenches
Snap-on says the system tests most click-type, digital and dial torque wrenches, as well as torque screwdrivers. Optional kits extend the TTC2000SYS to cable tensionmeters, tension and compression gauges and non-impact power tools.

Snap-on TTC2000SYS torque calibrator FAQ
Does the TTC2000SYS need a motor or special wiring?
The loader has no motor, because it runs on a hand crank. Snap-on lists a 120/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz supply for the monitor.
Which transducers come in the TTC2000SYS?
The catalog lists the TTC400 4-in-1, the TTC12 and the TTC14, which together span 4 in-lb to 2,000 ft-lb.
Can it check torque screwdrivers too?
Yes. Snap-on says the system tests torque screwdrivers as well as most click, digital and dial wrenches.
