Description
Large click wrenches on 3/4 in and 1 in drives need regular checks too, not just the small ones. The Snap-on TTC13 torque transducer handles that work on a 1 in drive, from 100 to 1,000 ft-lb. In metric terms, that is roughly 136 to 1,356 N·m.

Three heavy sensors in the TTC line
| Model | Drive | Range |
|---|---|---|
| TTC12 | 3/4 in | 60-600 ft-lb |
| TTC13 | 1 in | 100-1,000 ft-lb |
| TTC14 | 1 in | 200-2,000 ft-lb |
The TTC13 and TTC14 share a 1 in drive and overlap between 200 and 1,000 ft-lb. So the choice comes down to where your wrenches actually work.
Why pick the TTC13 over the TTC14
Snap-on quotes TTC2000 system accuracy at ±0.25% of indicated value from 10 to 100% of full scale. For the TTC13, 10% of full scale is 100 ft-lb, which is also its floor. For the TTC14, that point sits at 200 ft-lb. Therefore, a 150 ft-lb wrench falls inside the TTC13 band but outside the TTC14 band. In addition, a test at 300 ft-lb uses 30% of the TTC13 scale, compared with 15% on the TTC14.
Choose the TTC14 only if your fleet includes wrenches above 1,000 ft-lb. Otherwise, the Snap-on TTC13 torque transducer is the closer fit.
Systems and loaders for the Snap-on TTC13 torque transducer
The TTC2000SYS and TTC2800SYS kits ship with the TTC12 and TTC14, but not the TTC13. So most labs add it as a separate sensor. Every TTC transducer carries a memory chip that identifies it and holds its calibration, so the monitor sets up on its own.
Loader capacity matters at this size. The TTC600 loader in the TTC2000SYS delivers up to 2,000 ft-lb. However, the VERSA600LDR2 Versatest loader stops at 600 ft-lb. As a result, the upper part of the TTC13 range needs the heavier loader.
Bench mounting and safe use of the Snap-on TTC13 torque transducer
Snap-on lists a dedicated bench bracket for its 1 in transducers. Ask Lost in HCM to confirm the current part number with your quote. Bolt the bracket to a rigid bench, since big torques magnify any flex. Also never load the TTC13 past 1,000 ft-lb. The TTC2000 locks up on transducer overload, yet that does not replace good practice. Finally, plan periodic recalibration checks, as Snap-on recommends for its TTC testers.
Getting a TTC13 quote
SMK Vietnam lists the TTC13, and Lost in HCM supplies it and gives the price. Tell them which monitor and loader you run, so they can confirm the setup. Then request a TTC13 quote from Lost in HCM. Monitors and loaders appear in torque testers and calibration systems, and SMK Vietnam can help with setup questions.
TTC13 FAQ
What is the TTC13 range in N·m?
About 136 to 1,356 N·m, converted from Snap-on’s 100 to 1,000 ft-lb.
Can the Versatest loader drive the TTC13 to full scale?
No. The VERSA600LDR2 tops out at 600 ft-lb, so use a 2,000 ft-lb loader such as the TTC600 for higher tests.
Do I need the TTC13 if I already own a TTC14?
Only if you test 1 in drive wrenches between 100 and 200 ft-lb, or want more of the scale in use below 1,000 ft-lb.
