Description
A tool crib full of 3/8 in and 1/2 in click wrenches up to 125 ft-lb needs one solid mid-range sensor. The Snap-on TTC10 torque transducer fills that role with a 1/2 in drive and a 10 to 125 ft-lb range. That works out to about 13.6 to 169.5 N·m, or 120 to 1,500 in-lb.

The 1/2 in pair: TTC10 and TTC11
Snap-on makes two 1/2 in transducers. The TTC10 reads 10 to 125 ft-lb, while the TTC11 reads 20 to 250 ft-lb. Also, both mount on the TTC3422 bracket. Meanwhile, the 3/8 in TTC8 below them stops at 1,000 in-lb, about 83 ft-lb.
Matching wrenches to the Snap-on TTC10 torque transducer
| Wrench | Drive | Range | 20 / 60 / 100% points | On the TTC10 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CTECH2FR100A | 3/8 in | 5-100 ft-lb | 20 / 60 / 100 ft-lb | All three |
| ATECH2FR125B | 3/8 in | 5-125 ft-lb | 25 / 75 / 125 ft-lb | All three |
| ATECH3FR250B | 1/2 in | 12.5-250 ft-lb | 50 / 150 / 250 ft-lb | Low point only |
So the TTC10 suits wrenches that top out at or under 125 ft-lb. For 250 ft-lb tools, the TTC11 covers every point in one sensor. Snap-on quotes ±0.25% of indicated value from 10 to 100% of full scale, and on the TTC10 that band starts at 12.5 ft-lb. Also, a 3/8 in wrench needs a drive adaptor on the 1/2 in square.
Loaders and monitors for the TTC10
Every TTC transducer has a smart memory chip, so the TTC2000, TTC2800 or Versatest monitor recognizes the TTC10 on connection. In practice, loader choice is simple at this size. The VERSA600LDR2 handles TTC sensors up to 600 ft-lb, and the TTC600 reaches 2,000 ft-lb.
Safe use of the Snap-on TTC10 torque transducer
First, bolt the TTC3422 bracket firmly to the bench before the first pull. Then fit the wrench and load it slowly, because a jerk can overshoot the reading. Do not exceed 125 ft-lb on this sensor, as Snap-on warns. In addition, schedule periodic recalibration checks to keep the TTC10 accurate.
Asking Lost in HCM for a TTC10 price
SMK Vietnam lists the TTC10, and Lost in HCM supplies it and quotes it. Also note your monitor, loader and largest wrench in the request. Once you have that list, ask Lost in HCM to quote the TTC10. See torque testers and calibration systems for monitors and brackets, or contact SMK Vietnam for setup help.
Tool crib questions on the TTC10
How many N·m can the TTC10 read?
Roughly 13.6 to 169.5 N·m, which is Snap-on’s 10 to 125 ft-lb range in metric.
When is the TTC11 the better buy?
When your wrenches reach 250 ft-lb. If they stop at 125 ft-lb, the TTC10 fits better.
Can a 3/8 in wrench go on the TTC10?
Yes, with a drive adaptor on the 1/2 in square. Snap-on lists reducers and socket adaptors as TTC accessories.
