Description
Tractor and combine harvester dealers in the Mekong Delta work through a rush each season. Their service shops refit axles, wheel hubs and header frames that take heavy bolts. The Snap-on TEXC602TFUA torque wrench helps their mechanics check those bolts against the service manual. This T-handle Torqometer carries both U.S. and metric scales, plus a follow-up needle that holds the peak.

Farm machinery jobs for the Snap-on TEXC602TFUA torque wrench
- Rear axle and final drive housing bolts on tractors.
- Wheel hub and rim bolts on harvesters and trailers.
- Front loader and implement frame mounts.
- Engine and transmission mounts after a rebuild.
Many Japanese machine makers print torque in kgf·m. So the metric scale on the TEXC602TFUA lets the mechanic read the manual value without a conversion. Meanwhile, the U.S. scale covers American implements and parts lists.

No certificate on the base TEXC602TFUA
Note first that this stock number has no C at the end. Snap-on’s table says the wrenches in it do not include a certificate of calibration. Instead, adding a C to the stock number orders one. So, if your dealer network needs a certificate, ask Lost in HCM about the C version.
Sizing the TEXC602TFUA for hubs and axles
Snap-on rates the standard grade within 2% of reading from 20% of full scale to full scale. On this head, that band runs from 120 ft-lb or 16 kg·m to 600 ft-lb or 80 kg·m. In fact, that top value is roughly 813 N·m, enough for many tractor hub and axle bolts. However, check each manual value first. For heavier final drives, the TEXC1003TFUA reaches 1,000 ft-lb.
Workshop care for the TEXC602TFUA
Mud and chaff get everywhere in a farm shop during harvest. So wipe the head after each job, and keep the Snap-on TEXC602TFUA torque wrench in a closed case away from the wash bay. Also reset the follow-up needle before every bolt. Finally, never use the head to break rusted bolts loose, and stay within the rated scale.
