Description

Chemical, plating and water treatment plants carry acids and caustics through plastic and lined pipe. However, those flanges seal at modest bolt loads, so too much force can crack a PVC face or cold-flow a PTFE liner. The Snap-on TEC25FAC torque wrench gives fitters control at that low end. It reads foot-pounds and kilogram-force centimeters on one dial with a single needle.

Splash and fumes can also attack plating and cloud the dial glass. Therefore wear the plant’s PPE, rinse off any splash at once, and dry the wrench well. Also store it in its PB9 case outside the process area. Never use it to break a stuck bolt loose. Finally, plan outside recalibration at the interval your plant sets.
