Description
Machines built to DIN 934 give M22 nuts a 32 mm hex, while ISO nuts of the same thread use 34 mm. Those M22 joints sit on presses, slewing bearings and heavy bases, and they often carry high torque. The Snap-on QZXM32ADP box end head handles them on the Z shank, Snap-on’s largest. This DP version uses two pins to lock the head into the body.

Size table for the QZXM32ADP
| Opening | 32 mm, 12-point, closed |
|---|---|
| Shank | Z (0.990 in), dual pin |
| Outside diameter | 46 mm |
| Head depth | 19 mm |
| Pin to fastener center | 5.75 in (QZXM series) |
Brochure part versus DP part
Snap-on’s UK brochure prints the 32 mm Z ring as QZXM32A, with the same 46 mm width and 19 mm depth. It gives that part a higher maximum than the partner listing gives the QZXM32ADP. Because the two figures clash, we omit the rating here. Instead, Lost in HCM confirms it for this exact part number.
Which Z wrenches drive the Snap-on QZXM32ADP box end head
- The QD4IN800A click body weighs 11.14 lb, measures 41-1/2 in and reads 150-800 N·m (129-572 ft-lb).
- Its electronic partner, the 44.8 in CTECH4Z600A, spans 30-600 ft-lb and stores a head-length factor.
Snap-on’s QD table marks one body for dual-pin heads only. So the two pins on this ring matter when you pair it with a QD body. Ask Lost in HCM to check the match if you are unsure.
Planning the pull on a heavy base
A Z body is long, so the swing arc often limits the job before the ring does. The 46 mm ring itself needs about 23 mm from the bolt center. Also, its 19 mm depth slips under most frame lips. Before you start, clear the full arc, set your feet and keep both hands on the grip. Then stop at the signal, and never use the Snap-on QZXM32ADP box end head to break a seized nut loose.
How to price the Snap-on QZXM32ADP box end head
SMK Vietnam lists this Z ring on behalf of Lost in HCM, which supplies it and prepares each price. Note your Z body and the M22 torque value whenever you request a quote from Lost in HCM. For the 34 mm ISO size, see torque wrench heads and adaptors, or contact SMK Vietnam.
DIN M22 ring questions on the QZXM32ADP
Should I use this ring on an ISO M22 nut?
No. ISO 4032 M22 nuts use 34 mm, so the QZXM34ADP fits those instead.
My plant owns only a QD3IN350A. Can it drive this head?
No. That body takes X heads, while this ring needs a Z body such as the QD4IN800A.
What does the 5.75 in reach mean for my setting?
It is the distance from the pin to the bolt center on every QZXM ring. Ask Lost in HCM whether your body needs a length correction.
