Description
A 25 mm hex sits one step above the M16 size, so it often belongs to a fitting or an adapter rather than a nut. The Snap-on QYOM25A open end head gives a Y-shank (0.560 in) torque wrench a 25 mm jaw. As a result, an assembly cell can torque that part from the side with a 23 in body.

Confirmed QYOM25A data
CAT1500i and the UK torque brochure agree on three numbers. The jaw measures 52 mm across and 11 mm deep. Its pin sits 3.00 in from the fastener center, the QYOM series spacing. However, the source packet calls that spacing QZOM, so we follow the two Snap-on sources instead.
Line work with the Snap-on QYOM25A open end head
Preset Y bodies suit repeat jobs, because nobody turns a dial between joints. For example, a line that tightens the same 25 mm port adapter on every unit can keep one setting all shift. The QC3P150 covers 30 to 150 ft-lb, while the QC3P200 covers 40 to 200 ft-lb. Both run 23 in long. Note that CAT1500i says these preset bodies come without calibration certificates.
Adjustable option and the missing rating
For mixed specs, the QD3IN200B adjusts from 40 to 200 N·m (37 to 140 ft-lb) and includes a calibration certificate. Still, the head limit counts too. CAT1500i and the UK brochure print different maximum working torques for the QYOM25A, so we omit it. Ask Lost in HCM to confirm the figure for the Snap-on QYOM25A open end head, then set the body no higher.
Caliper check for a 25 mm part
Worn or painted flats can read between sizes. So measure the hex across two opposite flats. A 25 mm jaw on a 24 mm M16 nut sits loose and can round the corners. Likewise, a 26 mm part will not enter the jaw at all. If your spec runs past the Y range, Snap-on also lists 25 mm X and Z heads beside the QYOM25A.

25 mm Y-jaw FAQ
Does the QYOM25A fit the QC4P300?
No. The QC4P300 is an X-shank body. The QYOM25A needs a Y body such as the QC3P200.
Is the QYOM25A a good match for M16 hardware?
No. M16 nuts and bolts use 24 mm in ISO and DIN tables. Choose a 24 mm head for them.
What happens if the body setting tops the head limit?
An open jaw grips only two flats, so too much load can spread it. Keep the setting at or below the limit that Lost in HCM confirms.
