Description
Most machines in a plant stand on leveling feet, and each foot locks with a jam nut. On ISO M14 feet, that nut has a 21 mm hex. The Snap-on QJOM21A open end head lets a light J-shank (0.425 in) body set it to a known value. Meanwhile, the threaded stem stays where it is.

Why a socket fails on a leveling foot
A jam nut sits partway up a long stem, under the machine base. A socket cannot drop over the stem, and a plain spanner gives no reading. The QJOM21A, by contrast, slides onto the flats from the side and reports torque through the body click. Then the fitter moves to the next foot with the same setting.
ISO or DIN: confirm the M14 hex first
ISO 4032 gives the M14 nut a 21 mm hex. DIN 934 and older JIS parts, however, use 22 mm for the same thread. So a European or older Japanese machine may need the QJOM22A instead. Measure one nut with a caliper before you order the Snap-on QJOM21A open end head.
Picking a J body for the Snap-on QJOM21A open end head
CAT1500i and the UK brochure print different maximum working torques for this jaw. For that reason, this page gives no figure. Jam nut specs on leveling feet are often modest, but check the machine manual. The QD2IN50A (10 to 50 N·m) covers many of them, and its whole scale sits below either printed limit. For a fixed value on a line, the QC2P75 preset also works. In that case, ask Lost in HCM for the confirmed limit before you lock the setting.
Size and swing room on the Snap-on QJOM21A open end head
The jaw measures 43 to 44 mm across, depending on the book. Their depth figures also differ slightly, so allow about 9 mm of hex height. Under a machine base, a short J body helps. For example, the QC2P75 runs 11 in, while the QD models run 14-1/2 in.
Where to get the QJOM21A in Vietnam
Lost in HCM supplies the QJOM21A and handles the quote, and SMK Vietnam lists it on this page. Request a quote from Lost in HCM and mention how many feet or stations you plan to cover. To compare the 22 mm DIN jaw, browse torque wrench heads and adaptors. You can also contact SMK Vietnam with fit questions.
Leveling-foot FAQ: QJOM21A
Which other shanks come in 21 mm?
CAT1500i also lists the QYOM21A and the QXOM21A. There is no Z jaw at 21 mm, so heavy M14 work goes on a Y or X body.
Does the QJOM21A itself need calibration?
The head has no scale, so the J body is what goes to the lab. Snap-on notes that periodic recalibration is necessary, so set an interval in your quality plan.
Can the QJOM21A free a stuck jam nut?
Not on a torque body. Snap-on warns against breaking fasteners loose with these wrenches, so crack the nut with a plain spanner first.
