Description
Some fasteners need so little torque that an inch-pound scale feels coarse. For that reason, the Snap-on QDRIVER2 torque screwdriver reads in inch-ounces, from 20 to 100 in-oz. That band equals 14-70 N·cm, which covers many screws in circuit boards, sensors and small instruments.

Reading an inch-ounce scale
Sixteen inch-ounces make one inch-pound. So the QDRIVER2 spans roughly 1.25 to 6.25 in-lb, while its scale reads in the smaller unit. If your drawing quotes N·cm, use the metric figures above instead. In every case, compare the target with the band before you order.

Jobs that suit the QDRIVER2
Lost in HCM tags this model for oil and gas, electrical and renewable energy sites. On those sites, for example, it fits screws on transmitters, gauges and control boards. In an electronics plant, it also suits board mounting screws and small housings. Each of these jobs calls for a light, steady hand, and the tri-lobe grip helps with that.
QDRIVER2 or the preset QDRIVER2P?
Snap-on also builds preset drivers. Its brochure shows the QDRIVER2P at 10-100 in-oz (7-70 N·cm), and the buyer names the torque when ordering. Pick the preset when one value repeats at a fixed station. However, choose the adjustable QDRIVER2 when one technician handles several values in a day.
Handling tips
Turn the QDRIVER2 down to its lowest mark before storage. Next, check it on a low-range torque tester when it arrives and at set intervals after that. Also avoid using it to loosen screws, because it only gives accurate results clockwise.

QDRIVER2 FAQ
Is the QDRIVER2 the same as the QDRIVER2A?
No. The QDRIVER2 holds 1/4 in hex bits, while Snap-on’s catalog lists the QDRIVER2A with a 1/4 in square drive.
Can I set it below 20 in-oz?
No. The scale starts at 20 in-oz, so look at a lower preset model for smaller values.
Who calibrates it?
Neither SMK Vietnam nor Lost in HCM claims to calibrate it. Use your usual calibration provider.
