On 37-degree JIC hydraulic systems, the -6 nut for 3/8 in tube usually measures 11/16 in. A single machine can carry dozens of them. The Snap-on QYRX22A flare nut head fits that nut with a solid, slotted 12-point ring. Because it uses the Y shank, it also carries a printed rating of 92 ft-lb.

The QD3IN200B needs no length math at the 3.00 in spacing. For very low -6 values, however, the ControlTech body gives the widest usable window.
