The RTM3000 family holds 40 Msample per channel as standard and 80 Msample in interleaved mode. With the segmented memory option, it stores up to 400 Msample. So a long capture keeps its time resolution. The 10-bit converter also shows small ripple on large signals more clearly than an 8-bit scope.
A history mode replays earlier acquisitions. For example, a glitch from five minutes ago is still there to inspect. In addition, a built-in spectrum mode runs FFT views next to the time traces.
