Budget the power before you wire anything
Each channel stops at 80 W, and the whole instrument stops at 188 W. Therefore the headline numbers never apply together. A channel at 32 V cannot also give 5 A, because that would be 160 W. At 16 V it can give the full 5 A, which is exactly 80 W.
So list the voltage and the steady current for every rail first. Then add the startup surge. If the sum of your loads stays under 188 W, the three channels will cope.
