Description
Two input modes, two bandwidth numbers. The Rigol MSO8064 oscilloscope lists 600 MHz at 50 ohm and 500 MHz at 1 Mohm, on 4 analog channels plus an external trigger. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale in Vietnam, and it arranges service on request.

Reading the two bandwidth figures
The first figure applies when you terminate the input at 50 ohm. The second applies at 1 Mohm, where most passive probes work. So match the figure to the way you connect. Fast signals from a 50 ohm source suit the first, while general board probing suits the second.
Sixteen digital channels need a probe
The listing adds 16 digital channels, and it says an RPL2316 probe is required for them. Ask for that probe in your quote, because the scope listing does not promise it. With it, a logic bus and an analog rail share one timebase.
MSO8064 figures
| Analog bandwidth | 600 MHz at 50 ohm; 500 MHz at 1 Mohm |
|---|---|
| Inputs | 4 analog, external trigger, 16 digital (RPL2316 probe required) |
| Maximum sample rate | 10 GSa/s single-channel; 5 GSa/s half-channel; 2.5 GSa/s all channels |
| Memory depth | 500 Mpts single-channel; 250 Mpts half-channel; 125 Mpts all channels |
| Capture rate | Up to 600,000 waveforms/s under specified test conditions |
| Vertical resolution | 8 bit; up to 12 bit in high-resolution mode |
| Display | 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 capacitive multi-touch |
| Signal generator | 2-channel 25 MHz AFG optional |
Channel mode, options and firmware can change these values, so confirm them in the quotation.
Memory that follows the channel count
This model lists memory as a fixed ladder. A single channel gets 500 Mpts, half-channel mode gets 250 Mpts and all channels get 125 Mpts. As a result, you can work out the record length from the sample rate you choose. The pattern also mirrors the sample-rate ladder, so a capture on fewer channels is deeper and sharper.
Where the Rigol MSO8064 oscilloscope fits
Rigol positions the MSO8000 family as a bench scope for embedded design, serial bus timing, power measurements and automated laboratory testing. For example, a team can verify a controller board, then script repeat runs on a test rack. Choose a unit with this much bandwidth when your edges are quick or when you must record long events at high detail.
Photo notes
The product photo of the Rigol MSO8064 oscilloscope is a black family panel with an eye diagram and a histogram window on screen. It also shows three USB ports, two small terminals and four color-coded inputs. However, its marking reads MSO8204, so check the label on the unit you receive.
Rent or buy through Lost in HCM
Rent when the work has an end date, such as a product validation or an audit. Buy when your lab needs the scope every week. SMK Vietnam only shows the listing, and Lost in HCM supplies the unit. Send a quote request to Lost in HCM with your probes, dates and site. Other models sit in the oscilloscope category, Rigol publishes the datasheet, and SMK Vietnam can point you to the right page.
Rigol MSO8064 oscilloscope questions
Which bandwidth should I plan around?
Use 600 MHz when you terminate at 50 ohm. Use 500 MHz when you probe at 1 Mohm.
How much memory do I get with four channels on?
The listing gives 125 Mpts when all channels run.
