Description

Embedded boards fail in ways a plain analog scope cannot explain. The Rigol MSO7034 oscilloscope adds 16 digital channels to 4 analog ones, with 350 MHz of bandwidth, so you can follow a supply rail and a logic bus together. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale, and it arranges service on request.

Where 350 MHz is enough

Many embedded designs run clocks and buses well below the top of a 350 MHz range. Sensor links, motor control and power stages are typical examples. For boards like these, the MSO7034 gives you a clear view without paying for speed you will not use. However, a fast processor may need more reach, so list your quickest signal before you choose.

Rigol MSO7034 oscilloscope figures at a glance

Item Listed value
Analog bandwidth 350 MHz
Inputs 4 analog, external trigger, 16 digital
Sample rate 10 GSa/s on one channel, 5 GSa/s in half-channel mode, 2.5 GSa/s on all channels
Memory depth 100 Mpts standard on one channel, up to 500 Mpts optional, shared with enabled channels
Capture rate Up to 600,000 waveforms per second under specified test conditions
Vertical resolution 8 bit, up to 12 bit in high-resolution mode
Display 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600, capacitive multi-touch
Signal generator 2-channel 25 MHz AFG, optional

Options, firmware and channel mode can move these values. Therefore the Rigol datasheet and your quotation settle the final figures.

Trading channels for detail

The top rate of 10 GSa/s applies when one channel is on. In half-channel mode the rate drops to 5 GSa/s, and with every channel running it is 2.5 GSa/s. Memory is shared in the same way. As a result, a long capture on four channels holds less detail than the same capture on one. Decide how many channels you really need before you book.

What the product photo shows

The photo of the Rigol MSO7034 oscilloscope is a family view with a light-grey panel. It shows a waveform above a spectrum trace, a counter readout, three USB ports and four color-coded inputs. Its marking reads DS7054, though, so check the label on the unit you receive.

Settle probes and options first

The listing does not promise probes, licenses, firmware or memory upgrades. So name the probes, the logic leads and any serial decode you need in your request. Also ask whether the optional 25 MHz generator or the larger memory belongs in the package.

Rent or buy the Rigol MSO7034 oscilloscope

A rental suits a short bring-up or an audit with a fixed end date. Buying suits a lab that debugs mixed-signal hardware every week. SMK Vietnam only shows the listing, while Lost in HCM supplies the unit and gives the quote. To start, request a quote from Lost in HCM with your bandwidth, channel and probe needs. You can also browse the oscilloscope category, read the maker’s documents on the Rigol website, or contact SMK Vietnam.

MSO7034 questions

How much memory does it have?

The listing gives 100 Mpts on a single channel as standard, with up to 500 Mpts as an option. Enabled channels share it.

Is a signal generator built in?

The listing shows a 2-channel 25 MHz AFG as an option. Ask for it in the quote if you need one.

Does the touchscreen replace the knobs?

No. The photo family shows a full set of dials and keys beside the 10.1-inch screen, so you can mix both.
