Description

Power boards, motor drives and sensor front ends all hide more than two signals worth watching. The Rigol DS7034 oscilloscope gives you 4 analog channels at 350 MHz, plus an external trigger input. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale, and it arranges service on request.

Four channels for multi-rail work

With four inputs, you can watch an input rail, a switch node, an output rail and a control signal on one timebase. Then you can see how one event ripples through the board. Rigol positions the DS7000 family for embedded design, serial bus timing, power measurements and automated laboratory testing. The Rigol DS7034 oscilloscope is the 350 MHz, four-channel model in that group.

Sample rate, memory and resolution

The sample rate depends on how many channels you run. For example, it reaches 10 GSa/s on one channel, 5 GSa/s in half-channel mode and 2.5 GSa/s with all channels on. In addition, standard memory is 100 Mpts on a single channel, with up to 500 Mpts as an option, and the enabled channels share it. Meanwhile, vertical resolution is 8 bit, and a high-resolution acquisition mode lifts it up to 12 bit. As a result, small ripple on a power rail can show more detail.

Rigol DS7034 oscilloscope figures in one table

Analog bandwidth 350 MHz
Inputs 4 analog + external trigger
Waveform capture rate Up to 600,000 waveforms per second under specified test conditions
Display 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600 capacitive multi-touch
Built-in generator AFG not included (DS model)

Channel mode, installed options and firmware can shift these values, so the quotation settles them. The product photo shows a DS7000 family unit marked DS7054, with three USB ports and four color-coded inputs, so check the marking on your unit.

Rent or buy for the project

Rent the Rigol DS7034 oscilloscope for a power-supply validation or a drive bring-up that ends on a set date. However, buying fits when your lab watches several rails every week. Either way, Lost in HCM supplies the unit and gives the quote, and SMK Vietnam only shows the listing. Please request a quote from Lost in HCM and name your probes, memory option and delivery site. More scopes sit in the oscilloscope category, Rigol holds the datasheets, and SMK Vietnam answers order questions.

DS7034 questions

Is the 500 Mpts memory included?

The listing gives 100 Mpts as standard and up to 500 Mpts as an option. Do not assume the option comes with the unit, so ask for it by name.

Does it have a built-in generator?

No. The listing says an AFG is not included on this DS model.

Can I use all four channels at the top sample rate?

No. The 10 GSa/s figure applies to a single channel, and the rate drops as you enable more channels.
