Description
Debugging an embedded board often means watching a clock, a data line, a power rail and a reset line together. The Rigol DS7014 oscilloscope covers that job with four analog channels, an external trigger input and 100 MHz of bandwidth. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale in Vietnam. It also arranges service on request.

The 100 MHz step into the DS7000 family
Rigol positions the DS7000 family as a bench line for embedded design, serial bus timing, power measurements and automated laboratory testing. Within it, the Rigol DS7014 oscilloscope is the 100 MHz version. However, the DS7024 doubles that to 200 MHz, so compare both if your signals have fast edges.
Sample rate and memory in practice
The top sample rate depends on how many channels you switch on. It reaches 10 GSa/s on one channel, 5 GSa/s in half-channel mode and 2.5 GSa/s with every channel active. Standard memory is 100 Mpts on a single channel. An option raises it to 500 Mpts, and the enabled channels share it. Deeper memory lets you hold a high sample rate for longer, so a slow event can still show fine detail.
Vertical resolution is 8 bit, and a high-resolution acquisition mode lifts it up to 12 bit. In addition, the scope can capture up to 600,000 waveforms per second under specified test conditions.
| Analog bandwidth | 100 MHz |
|---|---|
| Inputs | 4 analog + external trigger |
| Screen | 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600 capacitive multi-touch |
| Signal generator | AFG not included (DS model) |
Is 100 MHz enough for your signals?
Bandwidth should sit well above the fastest signal content you care about. Slow control lines, sensor outputs, low-speed serial buses and power-rail ripple often fit within 100 MHz. However, fast clocks and sharp edges need more headroom, so check rise times before you choose.
Rent or buy the Rigol DS7014 oscilloscope
Rent it for a short bring-up, an audit or a repair job. Buy it when the bench uses a four-channel scope every day. The catalog record is quote-led, so ask Lost in HCM to confirm several items. These include the probes, options, firmware, calibration evidence, warranty, lead time and availability. Also note that the photo is a DS7000 family view, so its panel marking may differ.
Then request a quote from Lost in HCM and name your probes, memory option and delivery site. Lost in HCM supplies the unit, while SMK Vietnam only shows the listing. You can also browse the oscilloscope category, read the datasheets at Rigol, or contact SMK Vietnam.
DS7014 questions
Is 100 MHz enough for my serial buses?
Many low-speed buses fit, but check the fastest edge on your own signals first. For more headroom, the DS7024 offers 200 MHz.
Do probes come with the oscilloscope?
No. The listing does not promise included probes, options or licenses, so ask Lost in HCM to confirm each item in the quote.
What happens to the sample rate when I add channels?
It falls from 10 GSa/s on one channel to 5 GSa/s in half-channel mode and 2.5 GSa/s with all channels on.
