Where 65 A shapes the job
Because 80 V times 65 A equals 5200 W, the rated corner point uses the full power. Most test points sit below that corner, so check each one against the Keysight data sheet. The rating is a limit, and your real test must stay inside it. Low-voltage loads draw heavy current, so cable and joint quality come first.

What should I send for a repair request?
Send the model and serial number, the symptoms, any error messages, self-test results, photos, firmware and installed options. Stop using a unit that shows smoke or abnormal heat.
Can it stand in for a battery emulator?
No. It is a plain DC source, so do not assume it replaces a bidirectional battery emulator or a regenerative supply. Confirm energy flow first.
