Description
Some test plans start from the voltage, not the current. The Keysight N6766A DC power module reaches 60 V and 17 A, with one 500 W limit shared between them. It is a precision, autoranging module that takes two slots in N6700 and N6705 systems. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale.

Rating summary

Where 60 V and 500 W meet
The two headline limits multiply to 1,020 W, so the module never reaches both together. At 60 V, the 500 W cap supports roughly 8 A. The full 17 A is available only at lower voltage, up to about 29 V. As a result, a high-voltage rail and a high-current rail make different demands on this module.
A worked example at 40 V
Suppose your assembly runs at 40 V on the Keysight N6766A DC power module. Divide 500 W by 40 V and you get 12.5 A. That sits below the 17 A ceiling, so power, not current, sets the limit. Write one line like this for each rail before you request a quote.
Sensing and response
The output responds in 0.1 ms, so it follows quick load changes. Four-wire remote sense also corrects for voltage lost in the load leads. Meanwhile, the listing calls the module precision, but it gives no accuracy figures. Ask for the data sheet if your test depends on them.
Typical jobs for the Keysight N6766A DC power module
- Powering higher-voltage rails on embedded, automotive and industrial designs.
- Supplying ATE fixture resources in a production rack.
- Checking multi-rail sequencing before volume production.
- Pairing with an N6705 DC power analyzer for bench analysis.
Request a quote
The Keysight N6766A DC power module needs a compatible N6700 or N6705 frame, so confirm the firmware, the free slots and the total power first. Lost in HCM then quotes a rental or a purchase. SMK Vietnam only shows the listing. Request a quote from Lost in HCM with your rail voltages, current and dates. N6766A questions
Is a 48 V rail within range?
Yes. 48 V sits under the 60 V ceiling, and the 500 W limit then allows about 10 A.
What limits current above 29 V?
The 500 W power cap. Above roughly 29 V, the available current falls below 17 A.
Does it fit an N6705 analyzer?
The module suits compatible N6705 DC power analyzers and N6700 systems. Confirm firmware, slots and total power before you order.
