Description
Some loads need real current, and a small module runs out of headroom fast. The Keysight N6756A DC power module offers 500 W from one autoranging output that reaches 60 V or 17 A. It slots into N6700 and N6705 systems and takes two slots. Lost in HCM supplies it for rental or sale.

N6756A rated output
| Outputs | 1 |
| Maximum voltage | 60 V |
| Maximum current | 17 A |
| Maximum power | 500 W |
| Module width | Double slot |
| Output response time | 0.1 ms |
| Sensing | Four-wire remote sense |
Reading the 500 W envelope
You cannot draw 60 V and 17 A together. That pair would reach 1,020 W, so the module holds you to 500 W. At the full 17 A, the voltage tops out near 29 V. At 60 V, the current falls to about 8 A. Therefore, write down your real operating points before you book.
What the Keysight N6756A DC power module adds to a bench
The output responds in 0.1 ms, so it keeps pace with changing loads. Four-wire remote sense corrects for the voltage lost in the load leads. You can also set the slew rate, run LIST mode, log data and build arbitrary waveforms. As a result, one module can step a load through a programmed test.
Where a 500 W module fits
- Powering device-under-test rails during embedded, automotive and industrial development.
- Feeding ATE fixture resources that need more current than a low-power module gives.
- Multi-rail power sequencing and production verification.
- Side-by-side bench analysis with an N6705 DC power analyzer, when the frame allows.
Plan the mainframe before you order
The module needs a compatible N6700 or N6705 mainframe. Before you book, check the firmware, the free slots and the total power budget of every module in the frame. Also ask about the output-disconnect relay option, the load and sense leads and the connector block. Rental and used units can vary by serial number, so a written checklist helps Lost in HCM match equal offers.
Rent for a project or buy for daily use
A validation campaign, a production ramp or a short troubleshooting job suits a rental. A lab that uses the module every week may prefer to buy. Either way, request a quote from Lost in HCM with your voltage, current, interface and dates. SMK Vietnam only shows the listing. Keysight N6756A DC power module questions
Why can’t I get 60 V and 17 A together?
The module stops at 500 W, so voltage and current share one power envelope. Check every test point against that limit.
Which mainframes take the N6756A?
It fits compatible Keysight N6700 low-profile modular power systems and N6705 DC power analyzers. Confirm firmware, slots and total power first.
Does it need one slot or two?
It has a double-slot width, so plan the frame layout around it.
