Description
Rails rarely switch on in one tidy step, and the way they ramp can matter. The Keysight N6754A DC power module lets you shape that ramp with an adjustable slew rate. It gives 300 W from one autoranging output rated to 60 V and 20 A, and it takes two slots. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale.

N6754A at a glance
| Outputs | 1 |
|---|---|
| Maximum voltage | 60 V |
| Maximum current | 20 A |
| Maximum power | 300 W |
| Architecture | Autoranging |
| Module width | Double slot |
| Output response time | 0.1 ms |
| Sensing | Four-wire remote sense |
Two ways to read 300 W
Start from the voltage, and at 60 V the module can supply 5 A. Start from the current instead, and the full 20 A is available up to 15 V. Between those points, the autoranging output slides along the 300 W line. So list your real test points before you book, then check that each one sits inside it.
Ramps, lists and logs
Set the slew rate to control how quickly the output moves. LIST mode then steps through a programmed sequence, and the data logger records what happened. Arbitrary waveform generation adds shaped stimulus on top. Four-wire remote sense also corrects for drop in the load leads, so the voltage at the device stays on target.
Using the Keysight N6754A DC power module on a multi-rail board
One module powers one rail, so a board with several rails needs several outputs in the frame. The module fits N6700 low-profile systems and N6705 DC power analyzers, within each frame’s slot and power limits.
- Powering rails and ATE fixture resources on a device under test.
- Developing embedded, automotive and industrial electronics.
- Sequencing several rails, then verifying them in production.
- Running bench analysis beside an N6705 DC power analyzer.
Before the frame arrives
For the Keysight N6754A DC power module, confirm the mainframe model, the firmware, the free slots and the total power budget. Then check the output-disconnect relay option, the load and sense leads and the connector block. Units differ by serial number in the rental and used market. A written checklist therefore lets Lost in HCM compare like with like.
Ask Lost in HCM for a quote
SMK Vietnam only lists this module, while Lost in HCM supplies it and sets the terms. A rental suits a validation run or a short project. A purchase suits a lab that powers boards every week. Request a quote from Lost in HCM with your voltage, current, frame and dates. You can also see other power supplies, read the Keysight website or contact SMK Vietnam.
N6754A questions
How much current is available at 60 V?
About 5 A, because the module stops at 300 W and 300 W divided by 60 V is 5 A.
Does it have an adjustable slew rate?
Yes. The listing names an adjustable slew rate, along with LIST mode, a data logger and arbitrary waveforms.
Can I rent it without a mainframe?
No. Lost in HCM quotes it with a compatible N6700 or N6705 mainframe after you confirm voltage, current, channels and cables.
