Description
Autoranging lets one small module cover many operating points. The Keysight N6752A DC power module offers a single output rated to 50 V and 10 A, with a 100 W ceiling and a single-slot width. It fits N6700 and N6705 systems, and Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale.

How autoranging reshapes the envelope
A basic module has a fixed rectangle of voltage and current. An autoranging module instead follows a curve under its power limit. Here that limit is 100 W, so the module can reach 50 V at 2 A or 10 A at 10 V. The two headline numbers multiply to 500 W, which is five times the rating. Therefore the output cannot hold both at once, and you should plan each test point against 100 W.
Quick response in one slot
The output responds in 0.1 ms, so load steps settle fast. Four-wire remote sensing compensates for voltage drop in the load leads. In addition, the module accepts slew-rate changes, LIST mode, data logging and arbitrary waveforms. These functions make the Keysight N6752A DC power module a programmable source, not just a fixed supply.
Where the Keysight N6752A DC power module fits
One module can power several kinds of device in turn, which suits shared benches. Typical work includes device-under-test rails and ATE fixture resources. Embedded, automotive and industrial electronics teams use it during development. Production lines then use it for multi-rail power sequencing and verification.
Plan the frame first
The modular design supports independently configured outputs, within the slot and power limits of a compatible mainframe. Confirm the model, the firmware, the free slot and the total power budget. Then list the leads, the connector block, the interface and the software. An N6705 DC power analyzer adds bench analysis if you need it.

N6752A questions
What current can I draw at the top voltage?
About 2 A, since 100 W divided by 50 V leaves that much room.
How does it differ from the N6753A?
The N6753A is a double-slot module rated to 20 V, 50 A and 300 W, while the N6752A is a single-slot, 100 W module.
Is it quicker than a basic module?
Its output response time is 0.1 ms. The basic 100 W modules in the same family list 0.2 ms.
