Description
Test jigs that run two devices at 24 V or 48 V need a supply with enough power for both. The Keysight E3649A power supply offers two outputs and 100 W, with ranges that reach 60 V. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale in Vietnam.

At a glance
- Two outputs, each with two ranges.
- 0 to 35 V at up to 1.4 A, or 0 to 60 V at up to 0.8 A.
- 100 W for the unit, per Keysight.
- GPIB and RS-232 for remote control.
What the Keysight E3649A power supply numbers mean
First, at the 35 V range, 1.4 A comes to about 49 W. Second, at the 60 V range, 0.8 A comes to 48 W. Two outputs working at those corners therefore land close to the 100 W rating. In other words, both outputs can run near their limits together.
Two stations, one supply
A production or QA jig often tests two units at once. So, if you give each unit its own output, one failure does not stop the other. Besides that, you can set a different current limit on each output to match two different parts. As a result, one bench can serve a small line.
Noise and accuracy notes
Keysight quotes normal-mode ripple and noise under 8 mVpp. However, it also lists looser voltage accuracy on output 2, so place the more sensitive load on output 1. Then record both settings in your test procedure, because they matter for repeat runs.
Rent or buy the E3649A
A pilot line or a customer audit suits a rental of the Keysight E3649A power supply, while a permanent test cell suits a purchase. In both cases, request a quote from Lost in HCM with your voltage, current and delivery needs. Keysight’s Keysight E3649A page lists the official figures. Related units sit under power supply listings, and you can contact SMK Vietnam to talk through the options.
