Description
Most logic boards run on 5 V or 3.3 V, and both fit under a 6 V ceiling. The Keysight E36102B power supply is a compact single-output benchtop source rated 6 V, 5 A and 30 W. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale in Vietnam.

A small bench source with one clean job
Keysight places the E36102B in the E36100B Series of single-output benchtop DC supplies. The three ratings describe one corner of the envelope, because 6 V times 5 A equals 30 W. As a result, you can run a 5 V board at its full 5 A. A 3.3 V rail also works, but the same 5 A ceiling applies.
What the front panel shows
The photo shows a dark display that reads 6.000 V and 5.000 A. Status flags for error, over-current, over-voltage, remote and lock sit under the readout. Meanwhile, an adjust knob and a Menu key handle the settings. Below them, five posts take the leads. Two of those posts are sense terminals, so they let you correct for voltage drop in long cables.
Where the Keysight E36102B power supply fits
- Powering a microcontroller or sensor board from a 5 V rail.
- Checking a 3.3 V module before it joins a larger system.
- Running a small fixture in a production test cell.
- Teaching basic electronics with a low-voltage source.
Rent for a project, or buy for a bench
Rent when a project needs one more bench rail for a few weeks. However, buy when the same rail runs every day. Send Lost in HCM your voltage, current, dates and the mains plug at your site. Then request a quote from Lost in HCM. You can also compare other power supplies, read the Keysight site, or contact SMK Vietnam.
E36102B questions
Can the Keysight E36102B power supply feed a 5 V board and a 3.3 V board together?
Not at once, because it has a single output. For two rails together, ask Lost in HCM about a second unit or a multi-output model.
What if my board draws more than 5 A?
The 5 A rating is the ceiling for this output. So choose a model with more current, such as a higher-power unit from the same family.
Does it need special mains?
The listing describes universal benchtop AC input. However, send your site voltage and plug type so Lost in HCM can check the supplied power cord.
