Description
Most programmable supplies run out of current long before they run out of watts. The Keysight DP5742AH DC power supply does the opposite, with up to 170 A at 20 V from one output. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale in Vietnam, so you can rent it for a project or ask for a purchase quote.

When the Keysight DP5742AH DC power supply fits
This is the low-voltage, high-current member of the DP5742, DP5743 and DP5744 groups. It suits loads that pull heavy current from a modest rail. Examples include DC/DC converter stages, motor-controller boards and battery-pack test fixtures. Because the ceiling is 20 V, it does not replace a higher-voltage model. However, for low-rail work it gives a wide current margin in a 1U case.

Settings, speed and control
The listing gives a voltage programming accuracy of 10 mV. That is the tightest figure among the DP5742, DP5743 and DP5744 pages. Noise and ripple stay at 75 mV peak-to-peak, and the output responds in 30 ms. In addition, adjustable slew rate and arbitrary waveform generation let a script shape each ramp, while built-in voltage and current measurement reads the result back.
Control runs over GPIB, LAN, USB or LXI, with analog and resistance control as a hardware route. Built-in overvoltage and overcurrent limits also help keep the part under test safe.
Matching the AH input to your site
The AH version takes a three-phase 380/480 VAC input. The DP5742AL uses three-phase 200/240 VAC, while the DP5742AS runs from single-phase 200/240 VAC. So check the plant supply, the connector and the breaker with an electrician before you order. A wrong feed can stall a whole test campaign.
Rent or buy through Lost in HCM
Rent the Keysight DP5742AH DC power supply for a validation run, a line bring-up or a short production peak. Buy it when a rack needs the same source for years. Either way, request a quote from Lost in HCM and name the AC input, interface, accessories and dates. Lost in HCM supplies the unit and gives the quote, while SMK Vietnam only shows the listing. You can also browse more power supply listings, read about Keysight, or contact SMK Vietnam.
DP5742AH questions
Which loads suit 20 V and 170 A?
Low-rail loads that draw heavy current suit it best. For a higher rail, look at the 30 V and 40 V siblings.
What mains does the AH version need?
It needs three-phase 380/480 VAC. Confirm that with your facility team first.
Can I script the output?
Yes. Adjustable slew rate, arbitrary waveform generation and GPIB, LAN, USB and LXI control support that.
