Description
A low-noise amplifier wants two quiet voltages at once, one for the gate bias and one for the drain. The Keysight B2962C power source gives you two such outputs in one benchtop unit. Lost in HCM lists it for rental and sale in Vietnam, so a team can try it on a single project first.

Keysight B2962C power source at a glance
Each output also reaches 210 V and 3 A DC, or 10.5 A in pulses. Power tops out at 32 W per channel, and source resolution is 6.5 digits. Noise measures 10 microvolts RMS, and an optional filter lowers it further. So the unit suits circuits that react to every bit of ripple.

What four-quadrant and list mode add
Four-quadrant bipolar sourcing lets each channel push or pull voltage and current. Arbitrary waveform and list modes then build dynamic profiles, for example a brownout or a stepped load. Four-wire remote sensing also holds regulation at the device under test, because it reads the voltage at the load instead of at the terminals.
Jobs for a dual-channel source
Typical work on this model covers:
- ADC, DAC and sensor characterization
- RF component and low-noise circuit biasing
- semiconductor and material research
- battery emulation and transient power testing
In each case, the second channel lets one box bias two nodes or run a source and a load together.
Reading the front panel
The product photo shows the Keysight B2962C power source as a benchtop unit with carry handles. A color display splits into two channel readouts, while a numeric keypad and a rotary knob sit beside it. Each channel has its own on and off key, plus Sense, Force and Guard terminals. Also, a USB port sits at the lower left.
Rent for a project or buy for the bench
Rent when a characterization study needs low noise for a few weeks. Buy instead when the work repeats all year. In both cases, request a quote from Lost in HCM for the Keysight B2962C power source. So name your voltage, current, pulse, filter and fixture needs. Related models sit in the power supplies category. Keysight keeps official documents at keysight.com, and you can contact SMK Vietnam with questions.
B2962C buyer questions
Does the noise figure include the optional filter?
No. The 10 microvolts RMS figure is the base value, and the optional filter lowers it further.
Which cables and filters come with a quote?
Filters, remote-sense leads, interlocks and fixtures depend on the configuration, so ask Lost in HCM to list each one.
Can I ask for a purchase quote instead of a rental?
Yes. Lost in HCM may quote new, premium-used or equivalent low-noise sources, subject to configuration and availability.
